City no longer requires swabs for fully vaccinated individuals

THE CITY government will adopt the Inter-Agency Task Force resolution of nixing the RT-PCR as a requirement for fully vaccinated individuals entering the city.

“Yes. That has been agreed a long time ago sa COVID-19 Task Force nato sa Davao City na tanan issuances sa national government para dili maconfuse ang mga tao, we will follow all the issuances,” Mayor Sara Duterte said over city-run radio yesterday.

The Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) has already finalized the protocols for fully vaccinated individuals in the country.

Presidential Spokesperson Secretary Harry Roque said that a fully vaccinated individual is someone who has more than or equal to two weeks after having received the second dose in a two-dose vaccine; or more than or equal to two weeks after having received a single-dose vaccine.

He said a fully vaccinated individual must be administered with vaccines that are included in the Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) List or Compassionate Special Permit (CSP) issued by the Philippine Food and Drug Administration or Emergency Use Listing of the World Health Organization.

He added that the intrazonal movement of fully vaccinated senior citizens is still allowed within areas under General Community Quarantine and Modified General Community Quarantine.

The quarantine period for a close contact fully vaccinated individual has also been reduced from fourteen days to seven days.
