Cebu City, Philippines – NUSTAR Resort Cebu is hosting a series of events and promotions throughout March to empower and recognize the contributions of women. The Mall | NUSTAR will feature art exhibits, while the Fili Lobby Lounge and Il Primo will offer special dining experiences.
Artistic Expressions of Women Empowerment at The Mall | NUSTAR
Jef Albea’s “In Her Voice” art exhibit takes center stage, capturing not just the beauty of women, but also their incredible strength and resilience. Featuring stunning pieces that capture the many facets of womanhood, this exhibit highlights the voices, struggles, and triumphs of women throughout history and in today’s world. As part of the Women’s Month celebration, Albea’s work invites viewers to reflect on the ongoing journey of empowerment, courage, and individuality that defines the modern woman. Known for capturing human emotion, Albea uses his distinctive style to offer a powerful visual tribute. The exhibit is until March 23, located at The Mall Level 1.
“’In Her Voice’ is a powerful tribute to the diverse strength, beauty, and resilience of women. It’s a salute to the voices that have shaped our world, the struggles they’ve overcome, and the ongoing journey towards empowerment that continues to define the modern woman,” shared Albea.
Complementing this showcase is “ANG PANIMALAY,” presented by Friday Group Sessionistas, a group exhibit celebrating women’s empowerment, highlighting their role in building communities. The exhibit features artistic work by Tina Marie Gandionco, Ann Lubanga, Michiko Nina, Deedee Rallos, Rhodesa Cruzet, Ma. Kyla T. Agang, Chauncey Ferolino, Keara Pabinguit, Nhey Prado, Jamaica Elento, Georgina Castillo, Mean Mustard, Xanne Normandia, Orlane Quijada Baguio, Abiguil Barricuatro, and Verna Mae Ochua. It runs until March 31, 2025, at Level 2, The Mall | NUSTAR.
Gourmet Gatherings: The Ladies Who Lunch at NUSTAR
The Fili Lobby Lounge offers a Cocktail Soiree with daily signature cocktails from March 1 to June 31, 6 PM onwards. Each day features a different cocktail theme. Il Primo offers unlimited pizza for PHP 850 nett per person, with four topping choices, from March 1 to May 30, 2025, 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
