Mindanao products shine at MTE Christmas bazaar

THE MINDANAO Trade Expo Foundation, Incorporated kicked off its annual Christmas bazaar on Friday, December 13th, at the activity center of Ayala Abreeza Mall. The five-day event brings together over 100 exhibitors from across Mindanao, showcasing a vibrant tapestry of local products.
From locally crafted arts and home décor to fashion and beauty items, the bazaar offers a diverse selection for every buyer.  Fresh and processed food products, produced by local artisans and entrepreneurs, add a delectable dimension to the bazaar’s festive atmosphere.
“This year-end bazaar is a crucial part of our annual trade fairs,” explained MTEFI president Dr. Rosevic Lucilla Del Rosario-Cembrano. “It strategically leverages the high foot traffic and consumer spending during the holiday season, providing a perfect platform for our exhibitors.”
Cembrano also emphasized the importance of highlighting Mindanao’s unique products, particularly during the season of giving. “These locally made goods are ideal gifts and tokens, embodying the spirit of Christmas and celebrating the region’s rich heritage,” she added.
The bazaar continues to banner MTEFI’s overarching theme for the year, “Empowering the Future of Mindanao MSMEs: Connecting, Cultivating, Commerce.” This initiative aims to foster connections among entrepreneurs, provide opportunities for growth through capability-building programs, and drive commerce by creating new market opportunities for Mindanao’s small and medium enterprises.
