A FIRE gutted three residential houses in Purok 4, Barangay 31-D at 9:38 a.m. on Monday.
In an interview, Fire Insp. Shaira Borja, the Bureau of Fire and Protection XI spokesperson, said one house was totally razed while two others were partially damaged, affecting nine families.
Immediately, fire volunteers and firefighters responded to the scene. They declared a fire-out at 10:30 a.m.
Based on the investigation, the probable cause of the fire was an electrical ignition caused by overloading.
Borja estimated the cost of fire at P60,000. Fortunately, there was no reported injury or death from the incident.
