2 Mati gov’t offices shut down | report

 

 

 

THE Mati City government has closed down two of its offices due to high COVID-19 infection, with the City Health Office set to reopen today.

Based on its announcement Monday, the city government said that after closing down the City Health Office for a day, it will resume operations today.

However, it said there is still no timetable for the reopening of the City Assessor’s Office which was ordered closed a week ago.

The report said the some employees of the two offices were found to have been infected with the virus.

Despite the temporary closure of the two offices, Mayor Michelle Rabat services of the city government have continued as the move to close down the offices were to protect both the employees and the public.

She assured the public that measures are in place to ensure the continued delivery of services to the people amidst the rising cases of Covid-19 in the city. 

She appealed to residents to continue observing the basic minimum health standards.
