Twin murders

  • Mystery surrounds two deaths on Sunday 

 

THE  DAVAO City Police Office is investigating the discovery of two bodies in separate incidents reported on Sunday, April 21, at Camella Northpoint, Daang Maharlika in Bajada.

Major Marvin Hugos, commander of Bajada Police Station, reported finding the body of an unidentified woman, believed to be 30-40 years old around 10:10 p.m.

Officers who responded to the report of a stabbing incident found the door unlocked and the woman with stab wounds inside the room.

The City Forensic Unit (CFU) conducted a scene investigation, including collecting fingerprints and blood samples.

An autopsy has been requested to determine the cause of death.

Earlier that day, authorities received a report of a possible suicide at Daang Maharlika, Bajada.

Investigators found a man with multiple stab wounds around 5:30 a.m.

A witness, a 25-year-old call center agent residing nearby, reported seeing the man lying on the ground.

The CFU again conducted a scene investigation, secured fingerprints, and collected blood samples.

An autopsy is underway to confirm the cause of death.

Hugos said the police are actively investigating both incidents to determine the motive and identities of the victims.
