Davao City – In a heartwarming display of community unity and social responsibility, TOG 11, in collaboration with a multitude of esteemed stakeholders, came together for a momentous Bloodletting Activity held as part of the Pre-anniversary Celebration of TOWEASTMIN. The event took place at the spacious Victoria Plaza located in the heart of the Poblacion District, Davao City, on September 14, 2023.
With a shared commitment to saving lives and fostering a culture of generosity, TOG 11 partnered with the NCCC, Rotaract Club of Davao, Rotary Club of Davao, Kiwanis International, 7th ARCEN, Mapua Malayan Colleges of Mindanao, Rotary Club of North Davao, Davao Bay Eagles Club, Davao Bay Lady Eagles Club, and Mr. Bing Gonzales of Mindanao Times to organize this remarkable event.
The event garnered substantial media attention, with representatives from PTV Davao and SMNI News Channel in attendance to document this noble undertaking.
Under the clear Davao skies, a total of 107 bags of life-giving blood were successfully collected during the event. This remarkable accomplishment is a testament to the power of collaboration and the generous spirit of the Davao community. These vital donations will undoubtedly go a long way in providing much-needed support to those in need of blood transfusions.
