SKSU Isulan students receive cash aid from Sen. Imee Marcos

Students from Sultan Kudarat State University (SKSU) Isulan Campus received educational assistance in the form of Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) from Senator Imee Marcos on Saturday, March 2 at the SKSU Isulan Campus.

Senator Marcos assisted by Sultan Kudarat Governor Datu Pax Ali Mangudadatu and Maguindanao del Sur Bai Mariam Sangki Mangudadatu distributed P3,000 each to 1,000 identified students while some 1,300 students received food packs from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

“Nalipay ako subong na nakalakat ako diri… nalipay ako na nakita ko kamo tanan,” Senator Marcos in vernacular.

The Senator said Governor Mangudadatu has assured that the students of SKSU Isulan are assisted financially in order to sustain their studies,

“Ginbuligan ako ni Governor Datu Pax Ali na makaabot ako diri subong, kay kabalo ako na naga kabudlay kamo mga estudyante,” she said in ilonggo, while recognizing the university’s accomplishments built on academic excellence.

Governor Mangudadatu lauded Senator Marocs as it was the second time the presidential sister personally distributed the allocated educational fund for the students in the province.

“We are very thankful to the people behind this, DSWD and the office of Senator Imee Marcos… hindi lang ito yung una but SKSU Access Campus last December 2023,”

Mangudadatu said. Mangudadatu said Marcos’ presence inspires these students to strive and will motivate them to achieve a brighter future.

Apart from the cash aid, Mangudadatu raffled away three brand new laptops instrumental for the student’s academic endeavour.
