P2-M worth of illegal drugs confiscated from 18-year-old

MORE THAN P2 million worth of illegal drugs were seized from an 18-year-old man in a buy-bust along Dacudao Avenue, Barangay Governor Paciano Bangoy, at 10:31 p.m. on June.

Major Antonio Luy, commander of Bajada Police Station, identified him as Kurt Aaron Espinosa, single, jobless, and a resident of Sarphil, Barangay San Antonio, Agdao District.

According to the report, the suspect was arrested after a police operative acted as a poseur-buyer and successfully purchased a sachet of shabu in exchange for P29,000 money.

Luy said the subject was considered a Top 1 city-level, high-value individual. Further seized from him were another two sachets of shabu.

The confiscated shabu weighed about 103 grams, with an estimated street value of P2,060,000. 

The suspect is now in the custody of Bajada Police Station, and the necessary documents for filing a complaint for violating Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) are now being prepared and will be undergoing Summary Inquest Procedure.
