Another new model is preparing to enter the budget market of the smartphone in the country.
The realme C55 is being branded as a mobile phone that carries a “mini capsule” software, a dynamic notification system on battery level, mobile data usage and steps taken by the owner. The company hopes it becomes a “market disruptor.”
One immediately notices the longevity of its battery which at 5000-mAh is enough for a day of surfing, although using it for gaming will need the owner to charge it sooner than a day. However, with a 33W SuperVOOC charger, providing it more juice will not be that difficult, at least based on experience as its battery reaches 50% in just 29 minutes and full in just a hair of an hour.
Its 6.72-inch FHD+ display, on the other hand, is a come-on for those looking for bigger screen gadgets but do not want to buy tablets especially those into gaming. It also helps because it runs on a MediaTek Helio G88 chipset with a RAM of eight gigabytes
Also noticeable enough is its huge memory, although this comes into variants, the one with 128-gigabyte storage and the one that doubles this volume to 256 gigabytes.
Those looking for a smartphone with a better camera, realme C55’s dual cameras on the rear, a 64MP and a 2M, and an 8MP selfie camera is a good consideration at least for its price level, although the company has yet to announce the actual price.
It also comes in three colors: sunshower, rainy night and rainforest
Initially, based on these specifications, realme C55 can compete in the budget-friendly smartphone market, considered the biggest segment in the mobile phone market in the Philippines.
