The participants were presented with the overview and purpose of ACP, re-orientation of its roles and responsibilities, and a workshop on Organizational Strengthening and Management.

In his message, DOrFO Chief Baban expressed his gratitude for the active participation of ACPs in the activity. “Thank you for being our partners and for considering the tedious process of registration. Your involvement in today’s activity says a lot about your capacity and maturity in handling public funds,” he added.

One of the highlights of the activity was the presentation of the Regional Award for Best ACP-LGU to the Local Government Unit of Monkayo, which was given during the Kabuhayan Awards 2022 conducted by the Bureau of Workers with Special Concern (BWSC) on May 27, 2022 in Malate, Manila. The award aimed to commend the valuable contribution of ACPs in the implementation of DOLE programs, particularly the DOLE Integrated Livelihood and Emergency Employment Program (DILEEP). The plaque of recognition was received by LGU Monkayo Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Manager Ms. Yelin D. Cornites.

Moreover, two (2) cooperatives, namely BAPAPWOCO and MOBASCO, received their Federation of Family Welfare Stakeholders XI Lifetime Membership Certificate.

On behalf of Regional Director Atty. Randolf C. Pensoy, ARD Balais thanked the DOrFO team for organizing the activity. He also stressed the important role of ACPs in the implementation of the Department’s programs and services. “DOLE XI has been recognized several times for the efficient implementation of our programs and services. A big part of those accomplishments is the undertaking of our valued ACPs who are with us in every step of the way in pursuing our common goal of ensuring full, decent, and productive employment for all Davaoeños.”

ACPs are the workers’ organizations, other non-profit people’s organizations and non-profit, non-government organizations that have passed the accreditation requirements of DOLE to become its program partners responsible for the direct delivery of services to the target beneficiary.
