Army, PNP vow ‘honest, orderly, and peaceful’ 2025 elections in Davao de Oro

TO ENSURE a secure and credible 2025 election, Davao de Oro has deployed a combined force of military, police, and coast guard personnel across the province.

The send-off ceremony, held at the Davao de Oro Provincial Police Office in Nabunturan on May 4, 2025, signaled the official commencement of security operations for the upcoming national and local polls.

The deployment, aimed at delivering an Honest, Orderly, and Peaceful Election (H.O.P.E.), saw the participation of key officials including Col. Harry M. Argamosa, deputy commander of the 1001st Infantry Brigade and head of the Provincial Election Monitoring Action Center; Col. Antonio D. Alberio Jr., director of the Davao de Oro Provincial Police Office (DDO PPO); Lt. Col. Emmanuel C. Laroa, commanding officer of the 25th Infantry Battalion; and Atty. Jennifer P. Ancla, the Provincial Election Supervisor.

In his address, Argamosa stressed the critical need for discipline and vigilance among the deployed personnel, reminding them of the constant public scrutiny and the importance of maintaining public trust.

He expressed strong confidence in their professionalism and dedication.

Ancla echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the necessity for all deputized personnel to strictly adhere to their legal mandates and ensure fairness throughout the electoral process.

The ceremony, attended by representatives from the Armed Forces of the Philippines, the Commission on Elections (Comelec), the Philippine National Police, and the Philippine Coast Guard, underscored the unified commitment of these agencies to safeguard the democratic process and ensure a secure environment for voters.
