The primary suspect was identified as Roland Cabarrubias Lantaca, the no. 1 on the drugs watchlist city level. His other accomplices, meanwhile, were named by the police as Anna Lyn Jone Llagas and Charlie Tongcalan.

The three were arrested by elements of Police Regional Office XI, Sasa Police Station 4, Davao City Police Office, Davao City Maritime Police, and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency XI.

Police seized from their possession five sachets of shabu weighing 20 grams with an estimated street market value of P320,000, three mobile phones, a pink pencil case, P36,000 in boodle money, and nine pieces of genuine peso bills, with personal cash amounting to P570.

The arrested suspects are now in the custody of Sasa Police Station for proper disposition.

Brig. Gen. Benjamin Silo Jr., the Davao regional police director, commended the efforts and dedication of the operating units to support PRO XI’s campaign against illegal drugs. He said their efforts are anchored on the strategic peace and security framework of the chief PNP, which is the MKK=K (Malasakit, Kaayusan, Kapayapaan tungo sa Kaunlaran).
