11RCDG, LGU, and different agencies and organizations conduct “Serbisyo Caravan Para sa Dabawenyo”

Davao City – In line with the 11th Regional Community Defense Group, Reserve Command, Philippine Army current initiatives and support to ELCAC in the sustainment areas of 10th Infantry Division, Philippine Army, estimated 600 individuals availed the community outreach program of 11RCDG, RESCOM, PA dubbed as “11RCDG Serbisyo Caravan Para sa Dabawenyo” at Brgy Tagakpan, Tugbok District, Davao City on June 17, 2023.
The activity was in close collaboration and partnership with the City Government of Davao, Office of the City Vice Mayor of Davao, City Health Office through Tugbok District Health Office, Philippine Red Cross Davao City Chapter, 27IB, Davao City Police Office, Los Amigos Police Station, 2202nd Ready Reserve Infantry Brigade, 1105th Ready Reserve Infantry Bn, 6th Technical Admin Service, LTO 11, Reserve Officers Legion of the Philippines (ROLP), Kawal Atenista Alumni Assn, Inc, 11th RCDG RESCOM Alumni Assn, Inc, The Fraternal Order of Wolf, The Fraternal Order of EAGLES, Eastern Mindanao Travellers Club, Hugpong Federal Riders Group, Nissin Monde, Dekada 90 UM High School, and other Brgy functionaries/volunteers.
The local folks of the said Brgy flocked and availed the different basic services such as: medical and dental, feeding, distribution of hygiene kits/snacks/cup noodles/used clothes, eye check-up/consultation, BP, oral health lecture/demonstration, entertainment (magic), free haircut, and LTO and PNP Help Desks during the program.
The activity was also graced by COL ISIDRO T UNGAB GSC RES (PA), Brigade Commander of 2202RRIBde, BGEN LEONCIO A CIRUNAY JR RET, former President of ROLP, and Hon Edelito M Canedo, Brgy Captain of Brgy Tagakpan. COL UNGAB in his message lauded the efforts of the 11RCDG for bringing the basic services closer to the people in partnership with different agencies and civil-society organizations. He also encouraged the individuals especially the youth to take the ROTC Program as it is one way of instilling discipline, promote patriotism, and contribute to our national security.
COL JOSUE M CABERTO MI (GSC) PA, Group Commander, 11RCDG conveyed his heartfelt gratitude to the Brgy officials and residents of Brgy Tagakpan for their full support and cooperation that led to the success of the activity. “I would like also to thank the participating agencies and partner stakeholders for your presence and sharing your resources which greatly contributed to the overall accomplishment of our mission.” We will continue doing this activity with the different agencies and stakeholders in pursuit to lasting peace and development in Davao Region, Caberto said.
