- DAVRAA 2024 security plan successful: DCPO
THE DAVAO City Police Office (DCPO) said the security implementation for the recently concluded Davao Region Athletic Association (DAVRAA) Meet 2024 was successful
“Thanks to close collaboration with other law enforcement agencies, we are proud to report zero security incidents throughout the event,” said DCPO chief Col. Richard Bad-ang.
The DCPO deployed over 1,500 personnel strategically positioned at venues and athlete billeting areas for the safety of all DAVRAA delegates.
Bad-ang thanked all security and safety personnel who tirelessly contributed to the event’s success.
“Their dedication and sacrifices ensured full security coverage for the games,” he added.
Furthermore, the DCPO lauded the cooperation and assistance of all delegates and individuals involved in the event.
On a separate note, Davao City emerged victorious as the overall champion of the DAVRAA Meet 2024, securing a total of 158 gold medals, 115 silver medals, and 112 bronze medals.
