Toyota Vios is a clear winner by popularity among the car models registered with Maxim, with a solid share of 45.9%. Other popular models include the Toyota Avanza (5.5%), Mitsubishi Mirage (4.5%), Toyota Innova (4.3%) and Mitsubishi Xpander (1.6%). Ride-hailing drivers choose these models for their reliability, fuel efficiency, and budget-friendly maintenance costs, which make them perfect for frequent use in everyday transportation.
As for colors, white cars represent almost half of the vehicles registered in Maxim and account for 49.9%. Other popular colors are black (12.8%), red (5.2%), silver (4.6%), gray (4.2%), and light blue (4.0%). People often choose white cars for their versatility. They also absorb less heat from the sun and are more visible to other drivers at night.
