THE Police Regional Office (PRO) on Tuesday said that there was no reported any major untoward incident during the observance of “Undas” in its area of responsibility.
This developed as PRO 11 Regional Director Benjamin H Silo Jr. led the inspection team that went to the Davao Memorial Park on the same day.
Major Eudisan Gultiano, PRO 11 spokesperson said the observance of Undas was peaceful.
“No major incidents happened,” Gultiano said as she added that Silo also went to Wireless and Buhangin cemeteries.
Silo was also scheduled to visit the Eternal Gardens in Panabo City and other cemeteries in Davao del Norte.
In the city, the Davao City Police Office also set up police assistance desks in the cemeteries even as burial and other activities in public cemeteries would only be allowed after November 3 with the exception of emergency cases.
