The ceremony concluded with closing remarks by University of Mindanao President Guillermo P. Torres Jr., who congratulated the graduates once again and wished them success in their future endeavors.

As the graduates stand poised to embark on their careers as legal professionals, the president emphasizes that graduation from law school marks, not the finish line but the beginning of a new chapter.

He cited the wise words of Justice Gaerlan, emphasizing that this milestone is a gateway to opportunities to make a meaningful impact on society. Acknowledging the complexities of the world beyond academia, he urges the graduates to uphold their convictions and stand resolute. He encourages them to carry forward the values of competence, discipline, and service for others that have guided them thus far, assuring that these values will navigate them through the challenges ahead and empower them to effect positive change in society.
