In a remarkable collaboration aimed at promoting both environmental conservation and lasting peace, TOG 11 (Tactical Operations Group), of the Philippine Air Force (PAF) joined forces with the Davao Bay Eagles Club, Davao Bay Lady Eagles Club, Davao Bay Uno Eagles Club, Carabao Dive Center and Local Government Unit of Governor Generoso to conduct a significant Coral Planting/Restoration Activity in Brgy Tibanban, Governor Generoso, Davao Oriental. This event, which took place on June 11th, served as a fitting tribute to the ongoing ocean month celebrations throughout June.
The coral planting activity, also known as coral reef restoration or coral gardening, holds immense significance in the effort to rebuild and protect delicate coral reef ecosystems.
