Suspect arrested, P600-K shabu seized in entrapment

POLICE seized over P600,000 worth of shabu from a top eight regional-level target in a buy-bust in Kapundok, Barangay Ma-a, Talomo District, on Monday, July 3.

Captain Hazel Tuazon, the Davao City Police Office spokesperson, identified the suspect as Vincent Igaña, 38, married, unemployed and a resident of the said place.

All seized drug items had an estimated weight of 40 grams with a value of more or less P640,000.

The arrested individual is now in the custody of the Ma-a Police Station, facing a case for violation of Sec. 5 & 11 of R.A. 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002). 

Meanwhile, the Ma-a police also arrested a top seven regional level target in Barangay 10-A,  Duha San Rafael, at 12:08 p.m. on July 3.

Major Teresita Gaspan, the commander of Ma-a Police Station, identified him as Alvin Kayle Pasamba, 34, single, Jobless and a resident of Spring Village in Ma-a.

According to the report, the suspect was caught in the act of selling P2,500 worth of shabu to a police officer, who acted as a poseur-buyer. The suspect was reportedly arrested and charged with a drug-related offence twice previously. 

Further seized from him were three sachets of shabu, a phone, and the marked money. The total confiscated drugs weighed five grams with an estimated street value of P80,000.
