Get a glimpse of the rich and beautiful culture of Davao City’s 11 tribes in this year’s Hiyas ng Kadayawan Cultural Presentation at The Annex Event Center of SM City Davao on August 13.
Discover the intricacies of Inabel weaving through the works of no less than Manlilikha ng Bayan Magdalena Gamayo whose creations will be transformed into artistic fashion pieces by Davao-based designers at the Weave Transcending Time Fashion Show and Exhibition by the National Commission on Culture and the Arts slated on August 20-25 at SM Lanang’s Atrium. The fashion show will also feature homegrown models including Binibining Pilipinas Grand International 2016 Nicole Cordoves.
Sports enthusiasts and fans will unite in SM Davao malls through the FIBA Trophy Tour which will bring the Gilas Pilipinas team on August 18 at SM Lanang’s The Atrium and the Kadayawan Karatedo Championships on August 12 at the Annex Event Center of SM City Davao.
SM Lanang and SM City Davao also dazzle with colorful giant inflatable spheres and blooms that are perfect spots to capture the Kadayawan experience.
