THE CITY government has reiterated that those who are inflicted with COVID-19 virus must not quarantine in their homes.
“Pag-abot sa positive or confirmed cases based on the RT-PCR (reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction) test, dili gyud ta mosugot nga mopuyo o magquarantine sa balay whatever class you belong. The mayor does not honor anyone kanang magrequest og home quarantine,” said Dr. Ashley Lopez, acting chief of the City Health Office.
This developed as the city government has reopened all its temporary treatment and monitoring facilities following the increase in the number of new daily cases.
Lopez said that based on the number, the occupancy rate of the TTMFs has approached about 60%. “Sa una, naa ra ta sa 15 to 20,” Lopez said as 17 of its facilities were still considered moderate risk.
He added that among those opened included the one at the Rizal Memorial Colleges and the Sta. Ana National High School.
The city government, he added, has also started the operations of the Doña Carmen Central Elementary School in Toril to accommodate patients in Toril District and nearby areas.
