Munoz, four others head Musaman TriDavNor winners

Davao City – Team Ironman Cocowater’s Sophia Gabriel Munoz and three others head the honor roll, sharing top podium finishes at the close of the 2019 Musaman TriDavNor triathlon competition, Sunday in Davao del Norte.

Munoz clocked 2:38.46 to top the Female 18-24 age group category that left past closest foes Kimi Wee of Trinitarian Wildcat-GRSL (2:43.42) and Jane Espanola of Rider Omega Pro Tri Team (2:56.09) who finished second and third places, respectively.

Munoz, 18; a student of the Ateneo de Davao University, joined other elite winners which conquered the 1.5 kilometer swim, 40 kilometer bike and the 10 kilometer race route.

Other top podium finishes include Jory Ycong of Rider Omega Pro Tri Team winning the Male Elite division clocked at 1:58.49, Go for Gold’s Rue Reinhardt Panibon in the Female Elite category at 2:19.11 and Jonathan Pagaura of Rider Omega Pro Tri team in the Male 18-24 age group timed at 2:01.51.
