Labrador wins 5 medals in 2024 Philippine Cup gymnastics tilt

Mindanao’s pride Aluna Margaux Uy Labrador wrapped her PhilCup 2024 gymnastics campaign at the Philippine Sports Arena in Pasig with five medals around her neck over the weekend.

Labrador’s bronze medal in the Individual All Around (IAA) event is the cherry on top after snaring a silver in the bars category, and bronzes in vault, beam and floor events of the biggest inter-club competition in the country organized by Club Gymnastica Pasig, Inc. in partnership with MILO® Philippines in cooperation with Philippine Sports Commission and Gymnastics Association of the Philippines.
Ranked number 1 in Visayas-Mindanao, Labrador is the lone Dabawenya to grace the Individual All Around (IAA) event which is the most sought after award in a gymnastic event.

The PhilCup is Labrador’s first major competition of the year after a remarkable stint in 2023 capped with a heroic gold medal performance in the team event and a 3rd Individual All Around of the Batang Pinoy gymnastics competition held last December 18, 2023 in Intramuros.
