Krebs, Solon and Ilaya head 7 gold medal haul for AAK Davao

 

 VRYZYSE Edelweiss Krebs along with Aldren Solon and Julius Ilaya stood tall at the winner’s podium with separate gold medal finishes for team AAK Davao’s total of seven at the close of the 2021 2nd Karate Pilipinas Sports Federation Incorporated E-Kata and E-Fantom Kumite Championships held online.

All three stood ahead of their teammates with their respective gold medal performances that went along with a silver and two bronze medals. Krebs made most of her performance winning the gold medal in the girls 6-8 years old girls intermediate e-kata competitions then followed it up with a silver in the 6-8 years old girls intermediate e-fantom kumite.

Solon, meanwhile bag the gold in the boys 15-17 years-old advance e-fantom kumite and a bronze in the boys 15-17 years-old advance e-kata. As for Ilaya, he finished first place in the boys 12-14 novice e-kata and a second runner-up step in the 12-14 boys intermediate e-fantom kumite.

Joining both with gold medals were Galford Sagario (9-11 years-old boys novice e-kata), Heleina So (6-8 years-old girls novice e-kata), Elaizah Jeanne Sagario (12-14 girls novice e-kata)  and Johanna Fhey Lim (15-17 girls novice e-kata).

Silver medal performances came from John Philip Cagandahan (15-17 boys advance e-fantom kumite) and Sofia Ferenal (15-17 years old girls novice e-kata).

Bronze were from Julian Ambrose Ramirez (18 boys advance e -fantom kumite), Stephen James Cartagena (15-17 boys advance e-fantom kumite), Christopher Cagandahan (12-14 boys advance e-fantom kumite), Jet Lu (12-14 boys intermediate e-fantom kumite), Kyzzhia Pauline Navarro (15-17 years old girls intermediate e-fantom kumite), Adrian Paul Ilaya (18 and above boys advance e-kata), Jared Dale Nirza (15-17 boys intermediate e-kata), Robert Bryan Dayanan Jr. (9-11 years old boys intermediate e-kata), Zacchary Subang (9-11 years-old boys novice e-kata), Liam Japheth Lim (9-11 years-old boys novice e-kata), Jet Lu (12-14 boys novice e-kata) and Eaia Xundroa Ching (9-11 years-old girls intermediate e-kata).

AAK Davao which is under chief instructor Rommel Tan now prepares for the coming Karate Pilipinas Sports Federation Incorporated Regional Directors Cup which is set on the last week of June.
