Leading digital solutions platform Globe and the We Are Ayala Business Club- Cebu (WAABC-Cebu) have partnered to redefine the Sinulog 2024 experience, providing a platform for festival goers to pursue their passions in art, technology, music and gaming.
Globe and WAABC are bringing Globe Passion City to Cebu this week, a creative space for festival goers to enjoy. Located at the Activity Center of Ayala Center Cebu, attendees can enjoy a variety of artistic pursuits from January 19 to 21, 2024. The event is happening under WAABC’s Bisayala, which starts January 16. Globe users will get to access Globe Passion City by making donations with their Globe Rewards via the GlobeOne app.
“For the Sinulog Festival this year, we want to turn attendees from just spectators to participants. With Globe Passion City, our goal is to give them a holistic festival experience where they don’t just watch the festivities but get to immerse in creative activities and pursue their passions,” said Patrick Gloria, Globe Group Vice President for External Affairs.
Globe Passion City features the Art Mural Co-Lab, a communal mural painting activity, Drip Studio, a creative space for figurine customization, and a Claw Machine gaming challenge.
In partnership with the We Are Ayala Business Club – Cebu (WAABC-Cebu), Ayala Group brands namely Ayala Center Cebu, BPI, Seda, Honda, Isuzu, Volkswagen, Kia, BYD and Healthway, as well as Globe Group brands such as GCash and KonsultaMD, will have booths with special Sinulog festival offers for customers to enjoy.
For music lovers, Globe is also holding G Music Fest at Ayala Center Cebu Terraces on January 21, featuring performances from popular acts and emerging talents such as The Itchyworms, BINI, Shoti, Mandaue Nights, and many more.
Cebu’s Sinulog Festival, a cornerstone of Philippine regional celebrations, is a vibrant homage to the Sto. Niño. Every year, it draws large crowds from across the country and abroad, all eager to witness the colorful parades and electrifying street parties that mark the festivities.
