DSWD XI set to hold ‘Tamang Tulong sa Tamang Serbisyo’ Information and Service Caravan in Marilog

THE DEPARTMENT of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office XI held an information and service caravan, dubbed, “Tamang Tulong sa Tamang Serbisyo” on May 23, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Barangay Marilog Proper covered court.

This community-centered activity was a key initiative of the DSWD’s Social Marketing Unit (SMU), in line with the directive of DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian to foster a stronger communication mindset across the Department through the “Tamang Tulong sa Tamang Impormasyon” campaign. It aims to enhance public awareness and engagement by directly bringing vital information and services to the communities that need them most.

The caravan gathered from 80 to 100 participants, including residents from various sectors—women, solo parents, senior citizens, persons with disabilities, indigenous peoples, and low-income families. Also in attendance will be representatives from the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO), Barangay Local Government Unit (BLGU), partner agencies, stakeholders, and implementers of DSWD XI programs and services.ave access to comprehensive assistance to sustain their improved well-being.

The activity underscored DSWD’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and community empowerment, bridging the information gap and improving the delivery of social protection services. Through face-to-face interactions, the public will gain access to important updates, grievance mechanisms, and digital innovations being introduced by the department.
