THE DAVAO City Water District (DCWD) continues to accept applicants as the new service connection promo has been extended until Tuesday, Dec 31, 2024.
The water utility firm said it extended the promo due to popular demand. According to its offer, applicants will only pay P500 for new service connections instead of the standard price of P6,000.
In a Facebook Live interview with Davao City Disaster Radio, DCWD spokesperson Johanna Duhaylungsod emphasized the management’s initiative to make water service connections more accessible during these financially challenging times.
“Through an installment fee of 500 pesos, they can easily connect and avail of the promo offered by DCWD,” she added.
The management clarified that customers who avail of the promo must still settle the remaining balance from the P6,000 initial fee. However, the amount will be spread over 11 months at P500 each.
The amount will automatically reflect on customers’ water bills on top of their monthly consumption.
Duhaylungsod reminded customers to sign the service contract first and submit the necessary documents before the promo ends on Dec. 31, 2024.
