To ensure safety, the terminal deployed three new X-ray scanners, two walkthrough machines, 32 CCTV cameras, and K9 units.
DCOTT manager Aisa Yusop said Gate 8 will open for faster entry, with priority lanes for PWDs, seniors, and pregnant women.
Bus operators were also told to secure special permits and skip the usual 30-minute intervals during peak hours.
Finally, Yusop advised passengers to book trips online and warned against riding illegal vans outside the terminal.
For now, she said the terminal remains fully operational as they have received no report about bus companies suspending service, particularly on Good Friday.
