Cebu Pacific Boosts Operations with New Ground Support Equipment

Cebu Pacific continues to strengthen its operations as it acquires new ground support equipment (GSE) to meet rising demand across its expanding network.

The latest addition to its ground fleet includes high-capacity tow tractors, mobile passenger steps, boarding ramps, deck loaders, catering trucks, and electric baggage tractors.  These will be strategically deployed across Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminals 2 and 3, as well as other key CEB domestic hubs, to enhance aircraft turnaround times and support overall operational efficiency.

“As we continue to expand our operations, it is important that we also invest in the right equipment to maintain operational reliability,” said Lei Apostol, CEB Vice President for Customer Service Operations. “These new assets reflect our commitment to providing safe, reliable, and seamless travel experiences for our passengers.”

GSEs are specialized vehicles and tools used to service aircraft while on the ground. It covers critical functions such as baggage and cargo handling, passenger boarding, and maintenance support.

This investment forms part of the airline’s broader strategy to support long-term network growth while maintaining industry-leading standards in safety and customer service.

CEB flies to 37 domestic and 26 international destinations across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
