THE DISNEY Adventure today unveiled a first look at the ship’s stern characters – and they are none other than the beloved Captain Mickey Mouse and Captain Minnie Mouse!
The stern character (located at the aft, or rear, of the ship) is unique to Disney Cruise Line, with each ship featuring a signature sculpture that embodies the ship’s theme and spirit. We’re excited to unveil this signature design element for the Disney Adventure!
Captain Mickey and Captain Minnie are the two icons that started it all. They were selected to decorate the Disney Adventure’s stern to celebrate the fleet’s first ship based in Singapore. With its arrival in Singapore later in the year, the Disney Adventure is set to bring the magic of a Disney cruise vacation to guests in the Asia region.
Standing at over 4 meters tall (more than 13 feet), and with its position at the aft of the ship, this means that guests boarding or leaving the Disney Adventure will always be greeted by Captain Mickey and Captain Minnie – making it truly an extraordinary and magical touch.
