Davao City – Team Apo Golf and Country Club Agway Seniors made their presence felt when they stood tall at the winners’ podium claiming the Division 1 Seniors title to close their campaign in style, Saturday in the Mindanao Meet golf’s fourth edition at the Rancho Palos Verdes Golf and Country Club.
Apo Golf Agway Seniors scored at total of 381 points in the four-day meet leaving past closest foe Rancho Palos Seniors 1 (368) at second place and Del Monte Seniors A (339) at third, in that order. Apo Golf Agway Seniors team is composed of Teody Barnuevo, Quintin Singson, Alrey Ceniza, Alimar Etrone, Larry Pasquil and Monchit Mackay.
Apo’s Seniors A settled second runner-up in Division II behind Rancho Palos Seniors 2 (341) and Brittannika Seniors (336) after they finished with 223 with scores coming from Dennis Capa, Bong Cabang, Felix Enofre, Jun Horfilla, Tony Gumapac and Usamu Ikeda.
