AMBASSADOR Endo Kazuya paid a courtesy call to Department of Justice (DOJ) Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla on Jan. 21 to exchange views on judicial relations between Japan and the Philippines.
During the meeting, Ambassador Endo expressed his gratitude for the efforts made by the Philippines in addressing the prompt arrest and deportation of Japanese fugitives and emphasized the importance of further advancing these matters in the future.
Ambassador Endo and Secretary Remulla concluded their meeting by reaffirming their strong commitment to deepening judicial cooperation between the two countries.
