Aboitiz Construction successfully completed two significant construction projects for Monde Nissin Corporation (MNC) in Brgy. Ilang, 2nd District, Davao City. The projects, which involved the Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) works for the Main Production Building and Ancillary Structures, mark a major milestone in MNC’s expansion efforts in the region.
The first project, which was implemented for seven months and finished in October 2024, focused on the construction of CSA works for the Main Production Building which includes the bakery plant of MNC. This project achieved a total of 868,812 safe man hours, with a workforce of 365 individuals, nearly 20% of whom were sourced from the local communities. The completed works include essential structures that will support MNC’s operations.

The second project, which took place from February to October 2024, with initial works starting in October 2023, involved CSA works for Ancillary Buildings and External Works. This phase, which included the development of ancillary structures, earthworks, site development, roads, and drainage systems, was completed with 126,280 safe man hours and a workforce of 55 workers, approximately 20% of whom came from nearby communities.
Both projects aim to significantly improve MNC’s facilities. These enhancements are expected to boost food security in the region while creating job opportunities for the local communities.
