SHINCHEONJI Church of Jesus the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (hereinafter referred to as Shincheonji Church of Jesus) successfully completed its ‘Shincheonji Word Seminar: The Testimony on the Fulfilled Realities of Revelation’ at the Cheongpyeong Shincheonji Peace Training Institute in Gyeonggi-do in South Korea last Nov. 23.
The event was also streamed live in the Philippines via Facebook through the New Heaven New Earth PH page where over 13,000 people watched.
More than 200 pastors from various denominations attended the seminar in Korea and were very impressed and shocked by the sermon of Chairman Lee Man-hee. In the Philippines, 729 gathered on site in 24 locations nationwide.
Chairman Lee Man-hee began the lecture with the words, “If I am mistaken in any of the things that I am preaching, please point out.” Afterward, he emphasized this again two more times, displaying his confidence in the Word and his open attitude, which inspired trust and a great response from the pastors.
The Chairman said that it was according to the instructions of Jesus that he was testifying to the prophecy and the fulfillment that is recorded in the Bible. “No one has testified to the reality of Revelation for 2000 years. This is because only the one who has seen and heard can testify,” he said, emphasizing that he is the witness who has seen and heard the fulfillment of Revelation.
“Today, the book of Revelation has been fulfilled and Jesus chose someone to preach the Word on his behalf. I am testifying to this Word according to the instruction of Jesus.”
He also shocked and surprised the attendees during the lecture by explaining the actual testimony of how each verse of Revelation was fulfilled.
“We must put down our thoughts and judgments and believe in God based on the Bible. If you do not understand even after seeing and hearing the reality of the Bible, then you are no different from the blind and deaf” as he cautioned everyone against a superficial life of faith.
“It is said that if you add to or subtract from the book of Revelation, you will not go to heaven. Is there a church that has not added or subtracted?” he added.
He strongly advised everyone to “see what has fulfilled, understand and repent, and we must be one with God forever.” The pastors who attended unanimously agreed that his message, which mesmerized the audience despite his old age of 93, truly resonated with them.
Presbyterian Pastor Kim Yong-ho, who attended the Word seminar said, “The more I come to listen to the words of Chairman Lee, the more I am inspired and impressed. And as a pastor, I find myself conscientiously thinking, ‘Hey, I should come here and listen more to the words of the Chairman so that I can acquire the qualifications to be a pastor.’”
Similar to the confession of pastors who attended, the core of the lecture on this day was not just a simple sermon. Chairman Lee concretely testified about the fulfilled realities of Revelation in relation to passages in the Bible. Whenever he explained the process in which the prophecy was fulfilled and the corresponding testimony, the pastors encountered a case of recorded prophecy fulfilling as reality and they were filled with wonder.”
One pastor who admitted to having a lot of difficulty in interpreting Revelation said, “I have only interpreted the book of Revelation in an abstract way, but today I saw the prophecy and the fulfilled reality for the first time.”
