Police manhunt launched vs robber

THE POLICE are still hunting down the male suspect in robbing a cashier at F&R Business Center along Pandango Street, Lanzona Subdivision, Matina Aplaya, on Sept. 27.

The cashier, identified as Elvie, told police investigators that the robbery occurred around 11:20 a.m. while she was on duty.

Elvie described the suspect as stocky built and approximately 5’4” tall. He wore a bonnet, a white half-face helmet, and a white printed dry-fit custom sweatshirt.

The suspect initially entered the premises inquiring about a GCash cash-in. However, she was surprised by the short firearm she could not identify that the robber pointed at her. He then ordered her to hand over the cash and valuables.

He took the office’s sales money worth P50,000, along with Elvie’s personal gold necklace worth P10,000 and her wedding ring worth P18,000.

The unidentified perpetrator quickly fled the scene on a motorcycle in an unknown direction.

A follow-up investigation is ongoing to locate and apprehend the suspect.
