THE DAVAO Light and Power Co., Inc. will conduct switching power interruptions on October 18, Wednesday, affecting customers in Davao del Norte.
These power interruptions are necessary to conduct maintenance works at the San Vicente Substation.
The first power interruption will be for 1 hour from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. to conduct isolation of affected lines. Additionally, the second power interruption will be for another 1 hour from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. to also conduct isolation of affected lines.
Specifically affected are customers from San Vicente Area, Rachoville Subd, Manay, Nanyo, Malitbog, Gaisano Grand Mall, Panabo Wharf Road, DICT & Anflocor Industrial Estate.
Also affected are customers from Panabo Bus Terminal, City Hall, Panabo Park, Cabaluna St., Quirino St., Circumferential Tadeco Road, Main Highway National Road, Maryknoll Highschool, Salvacion up to Municipality of Carmen, and nearby areas.
Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience brought about by these scheduled power interruptions. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.
Safety is of paramount importance to the company and Davao Light reminds the public to always take extra precautions when passing by activity area/s where line repairs and maintenance are being done. Please heed and follow warning signs, especially in areas where personnel operate heavy equipment.
