6th Café Summit opens in Tacloban

Robinsons Land Corporation’s hospitality arm, Robinsons Hotels and Resorts (RHR), recently
opened its 6th Café Summit in the heart of Tacloban City last June 15, 2024. The Café Summit
brand is the very first dining concept of RHR and with the success of its outlets in Greenhills,
Tagaytay, General Santos, Cebu, and Naga. Café Summit ventures out in Tacloban to
showcase its signature dishes, local delicacies, and the warm hospitality this restaurant chain is
known for.

The festivities began with a motorcade together with the Champions of Tacloban and with a
formal unveiling of the sail showcasing the Café Summit Tacloban logo. The sailboat represents
the Sangyaw Festival. Sangyaw is named after a religious and socio-cultural festival that
culminates in the colorful parade of lights.

The purpose of Champions of Tacloban is to lead the public on the idea that Café Summit
Tacloban have the best yet affordable buffet breakfast.

When it comes to local delicacies, Tacloban City may be the best place for any traveler to
explore and of course, feast from Café Summit’s wide selection of hearty breakfast sets,

Chef’s Salad, for afternoon coffee with friends, try out Macchiato with Kalamay, Café Summit’s

restaurant’s signature dish Pork Lomo – Tacloban pork soup with pork blood, native pechay,
and beans sprout.

Don’t miss its Seafood Moringa Chowder, Sizzling Dagmay and Kinilaw. For the sweet tooth,
Dolce Molten Chocolate Warm made with chocolate cake with chocolate fudge, filling topped
with vanilla ice cream or its twist on the classic flan named Ube Pearl Flan, definitely hits the
spot. Finally, Café Summit serves a good selection of wines, spirits, and cocktails such as the
special south slinger and its very own pineapple and mango concoction aptly named the Ceb
Beauty to cap the delicious meal off.
