300 participants to join Innovation Summit 2024

AROUND 250 TO 300 participants are anticipated to participate in the Innovation Summit 2024, which tackles innovative solutions and the growing digital economy on Nov. 7-9 at SM Lanang SMX Convention Center.

Spearheaded by the Davao City Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc. (DCCCII) and in partnership with ICT Davao Inc., 

Topics include “Leveling the Playing Field,” “Artificial Intelligence and Creatives,” and “The Future of Business,” addressing key industry needs of outsourcing, cybersecurity, blockchain technology, and other important industries.

DCCCII president Belinda Torres highlighted that the Innovation Summit 2024 is more technologically driven showcasing cutting-edge technologies and the future of technology.

ICT Davao Inc. president Xavier Eric Manalastas said that the summit also serves as a unique opportunity for businesses, innovators, and policymakers to connect, exchange ideas, and shape the future of technology in Davao Region.

Foreign delegates and diplomats from consulate general offices of China, Indonesia, Japan, and Malaysia will be invited to show their support in promoting the summit to foreign companies in their respective countries.

“This [summit] will strengthen the partnership and international collaborations. We are confident that the summit will deliver valuable insights and forge lasting partnerships that will benefit both local and global participants,” Manalastas said during Wednesday’s media forum.

For Nov. 6, separate events will be conducted namely a Job Fair at NCCC Mall Victoria Plaza, and a drone exhibition at the University of Mindanao Matina grounds.
