POLICE seized nearly P900,000 worth of shabu from three suspects in a buy-bust operation in Purok 1-B Luak, Barangay Bayabas, Toril District, around 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 27.
Captain Hazel Tuazon, spokesperson of Davao City Police Office (DCPO), identified the arrested individuals as Keith Nicole Carmina Egdamin, 25, a resident of Concepcion compound, Bangkal; Lowegy Rocacorba Combras, and Renante Coña Sabuya, who hails from General Santos city.
They were handcuffed when they handed a sachet of shabu in exchange for P2,500 to a police undercover. Moreover, operatives seized 20 big sachets of shabu weighing 48.4947 grams worth P872,962.20.
The suspects are now under the custody of Eden Police Station, facing an appropriate case for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
