A 55-YEAR-OLD woman was stabbed to death by her live-in partner in their residence located in Tacunan, Tugbok District on June 2.
Police identified the victim as Emilia Fuentes Abo-Abo.
According to the Tugbok Police, the victim and the suspect, a construction worker whose identity is being withheld pending investigation, were drinking with friends earlier that day.
Around 7:45 p.m., neighbors reported hearing a commotion from the couple’s residence. A witness saw the suspect drag Abo-Abo, who had been stabbed in the chest, from the second floor of the house.
The authorities recovered a kitchen knife from the scene.
Meanwhile, the motive for the crime is under investigation, and a search is underway to apprehend the suspect.
