THE ISSUANCE of vaccination certificates is now available at designated hubs in the city’s selected malls

Dr. Josephine Villafuerte, Vaccination Cluster head of the City COVID-19 Task Force, bared this during the Madayaw Davao program of the 87.5 FM Davao City Disaster Radio (DCDR) on Wednesday, March 16.

She said, “Naa ta’y gi-open nga VaxCert hubs, nagsimula na kami butang booths sa mga malls. Today, we will open Abreeza and SM Lanang. Mga after two days, diha napud ta sa SM Ecoland (We have opened VaxCert hubs, we started opening booths inside malls. Today, we will open one at Abreeza Ayala Malls and SM Lanang Premier. After two days, we will also open a booth at SM City Davao Ecoland).”

Villafuerte said those who would like to register for VaxCert PH may just go to any of the operational VaxCert PH booths.

Adto lang ka didto, dalhon nimo imong vaccination card. Mangayo ka, tagaan ka nila. Wala pa ma encode imong vaccination info sila mu-process didto para mapadala sa Manila aron pagbalik sa imong email muabot ngadto imong vaccination certificate (Just go there and bring your vaccination card. If you request a vaccination certificate, they will issue one. If your vaccination information has not yet been encoded, they will process it for you and send it to Manila so that you can receive in your email your vaccination certificate),” said the retired City Health Office (CHO) head.

Primary doses of the anti-COVID-19 vaccines administered to an individual will be reflected on the vaccination certificate.

The vaccination certificate may also be accessed at https://vaxcert.doh.gov.ph/ via the website or mobile application. But Villafuerte said some people would still opt to register on-site due to some issues with their vaccination information or vaccination cards.

She added, “Naay online pero ayaw na nila sa online kasi nga may problema sa vaccination card or vaccination process. Gusto nila face-to-face (Online registration is also available but most people don’t want to do it online because of some problems with their vaccination card or vaccination process. They want face to face [processing]).”

The Vaccination Cluster will also open VaxCert PH booths in the city’s southern portion.

She also said that they decided to open more booths to cater to more Davaoeños since the Teen Center, where VaxCert PH issuance is being done, has become crowded and there is usually a long queue of people there.
