THE CROCODILE Park drive through vaccination hub is open to all priority groups for all levels of vaccination status.

Dr. Michelle Schlosser, City COVID-19 Task Force spokesperson: “Open for everyone ang atoang Crocodile Park vaccination site, especially sa drivers – jeepney, taxi, ug bus drivers. Mas suitable sa ilaha kung didto sila.”

This developed as the city government reported that 181,757 residents were able to secure their booster shots against the virus as of February 4.

However, Schlosser said that the number is still low. “We want everyone to have a booster. At the moment, since we are almost 100 percent na nato ang herd immunity, what we are targeting is the total population of 1.8 million. So, in the same manner kung 1.8 million ang atong gusto i-vaccinate mao pud na ang atoang i-booster,” she added.

As of February 4, of the 1.289 million who were given the first dose, 1.248 million were given the second dose.

At the Crocodile Park, also accepted are medical frontliners, senior citizens, adults with comorbidities, indigents, pediatric 12 to 17 years old, or anyone, including walk-ins. “OK lang didto sila, mas maayo didto” Schlosser said as she added that vaccines available are Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, and Sinovac.

“Ubay-ubay atong mga bakuna naa didto, labi na sa mga preferred gyud sa mga tao. Makapili gyud sila,” the city health official said.

The People’s Park, on the other hand, only the elderly the differently-abled persons are accommodated.
