VANNIE GARCIA of Team W-Autosport triumphed in the QUICK 8 category of the 2024 Motul Hot August Races at Ciudades, Mandug Road on August 18.
Vannie Garcia became the champion of the drag racing event with a record of ET – 7.0860 followed by Runner Up Kyle Dumbrique with a record of ET – 7.5680. Vannie Garcia is also the top qualifier of 2024 Motul Hot August Races with an ET – 6.9841.
Both Garcia and Dumbrique received trophies as winners of the QUICK 8 category of the drag racing event.
2024 Motul Hot August Races, organized by the Davao Classic & Sports Car Club and in collaboration with MOTUL, BYD, and Ciudades Davao City, kicked off from August 17 to 18 participated by 100 and above racecar drivers.
The drag racing event aimed to provide a venue for racing enthusiasts and drivers who love high speed races.
2024 Motul Hot August Races is composed of four major categories of CLASS C (ET 10.0 sec and slower), CLASS B (ET 8.0 sec – 9.99 sec), CLASS A (ET 7.99 and faster), and QUICK 8 (8 fastest cars during time trial).
