DAVAO City is now home to a new destination for coffee enthusiasts: UCC Cafe Terrace Davao, an exciting addition to the city’s vibrant café scene.
UCC Cafe, known for its rich, aromatic coffee blends, innovative brews, and delectable comfort food brings a taste of Japan as UCC Cafe Terrace Davao is the first branch in Mindanao.
The concept of the UCC Cafe Terrace is under their traditional setup concept and has a laid-back and relaxing vibe with Al fresco seating, with an atmosphere akin to a country club setting.
Franchise owner Jeremy Ang, co-incorporator of Davao Coffee Ventures, shared that he was inspired to share his experience with Davaoeños being a long-time customer of the coffee shop, specifically in BGC, Taguig.
“If you are going to taste the coffee here, you can automatically identify that it’s UCC because it has a Japanese blend of coffee that you cannot find in other coffee shops. That is what we want for Davao City to experience,” he said.
UCC has been in the coffee industry for 24 years, this is the 67th branch worldwide, and 35th in the country, offering not only high-quality coffee options but a fusion of Western-Japanese yet Filipinized comfort food.
Davao’s coffee enthusiasts can now experience the signature offerings which are all prepared using UCC’s signature Japanese-style brewing methods– the siphon.
UCC’s pour-over, cold brew, and espresso selections are made from carefully selected beans from their directly managed two coffee estates in Jamaica (Blue Mountain Coffee) and Hawaii (Hawaiian Kona Coffee Estate).
Kori Kohi, the UCC Special Blend, UCC Sumiyaki (for siphon and brewed coffees), and cold-pressed juices such as the Juicy Lucy are must-tries.
The cafe also offers a delicious array of dishes including its bestsellers: Threesome Breakfast, Clubhouse, Carbonara, Steak Salpicao, and Chicken Teriyaki Rice Casserole, among others. For desserts, must-tries are the Molten Dulce de Leche and Nippon Cheesecake.
Apart from diverse food options, UCC Cafe Terrace offers conference rooms for group meetings to create a memorable dining experience for all ages- coffee lovers and food enthusiasts alike.
