AN ALLEGED high-value target was arrested on Tuesday, May 14, following a buy-bust operation by the Bajada Police Station in Opal Street corner Veloso Street, Barangay Paciano Bangoy, Agdao District.
The suspect was identified only as alias Dodong, a 30-year-old painter residing in Purok San Isidro, Buhangin.
Captain Hazel Tuazon, the city police spokesperson, revealed that Dodong was considered a top-four target in Davao City.
The Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of the Bajada Police Station (PS18), led by Major Marvin Hugos, carried out the operation at 10:28 p.m. on May 14.
Officers seized suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P54,400 from the suspect’s possession.
Dodong is currently in the custody of the station as he faces a charge of violating Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
