FOUR Task Force Davao members were awarded Military Merit Medals during the flag-raising ceremony at Camp General Manuel T. Yan Sr. in Mawab, Davao De Oro, on Monday, Nov. 13, 2023.
Col. Darren E Comia, Task Force Davao Commander, and his team were personally commended by the 10ID commander Brigadier General Allan D. Hambala after successfully seizing 1.14 kilograms of shabu during a joint AFP-PNP checkpoint operation in Barangay Sirawan, Toril District on June 25.
Furthermore, the street value equivalent of the said shabu amounts to P18.2 million.
Task Force Davao, an organic unit of the 10ID, was established on April 16, 2003, after the terror attacks on Sasa Airport and Sasa Wharf in the same year.
