THE BUNAWAN police apprehended a top-wanted person in Surigao del Sur, during an operation conducted in Purok 1, Bunawan District, Davao City, at around 6:25 p.m. on Sunday, June 16.
Captain Hazel Tuazon spokesperson of the Davao City Police Office, identified him as Leo, 39, a single, driver, and a resident of Purok 6-A San Fernando, Bislig, Surigao Davao del Sur.
A joint team from the Bunawan Police Station led by Major Jake Goles, Bislig City Police Station, Surigao del Sur PPO, and PRO-13 Caraga participated in the operation.
Valenzuela was arrested for frustrated murder and kidnapping.
The warrant of arrest, signed by Ambrosio Moleta, Presiding Judge of Regional Trial Court Branch 46 in Bislig City, carries a P200,000 bail bond for frustrated murder and no recommended bail for kidnapping.
Valenzuela was informed of his constitutional rights and is currently detained at the Bunawan Police Station for documentation and booking.
