A 14-YEAR-OLD student of Lamb of God Special Education Academy Buhangin Inc. was hit by a passenger jeepney while crossing the pedestrian lane at Km. 5, Buhangin on Monday morning, Dec. 11.
Police did not already reveal the identity of the student.
According to the Davao City Police Office, Sabino Lemente, a resident of Maglana Spring Village, Buhangin, was driving his multicab toward Dacudao Flyover when he knocked the victim.
The victim was on the crosswalk in front of Burger King when the incident occurred. The student sustained injuries and recuperating in the hospital. Meanwhile, the driver was detained at the police station to face the case against him.
