A FIRE broke out at the Sta. Ana National High School Teacher’s Cooperative Canteen in Barangay 28-C on Sunday, May 26, at around 4:17 p.m.
Fire Sr. Insp. Frances Mae Sendrijas, Bureau of Fire and Protection XI spokesperson, said the fire reached second alarm status but was quickly contained by firefighters.
Sendrijas said there were no reported injuries or casualties.
Based on the investigation, the cause of the fire is believed to be electrical ignition caused by arcing. The bureau estimated the damage to reach P350,000.
